DJ AKI 11:00AM-12:30PM
In 2002, DJ Aki began his career in Tokyo, Japan. After establishing a successful residency, he was invited to play all over the Land of the Rising Sun, eventually being invited to South Korea, as well.
In 2015, his travels took him to the Bay Area of California, eventually leading to him establishing San Francisco as home. There, he is a resident DJ at Badlands and Toad Hall (San Francisco), two of the leading dance clubs in the Castro. He also ventures out regularly to DJ at Splash (San Jose), ShangriLa and Phoenix at The Endup (San Francisco), and JC Events. He is, without a doubt, one of the DJs to listen to on the West Coast.
DJ Matt Effect 12:30pm-2:15pm
DJ/Producer Matt Effect is an established performer who has been spinning for many varied events, since starting in his hometown of Sydney, Australia. He has held residencies at some of Sydney’s biggest clubs including ARQ Nightclub, Manacle, The Oxford Hotel, Phoenix and Midnight Shift, Chinese Laundry and Ivy to name a few.
Matt is becoming one of the most recognizable and sought after DJ’s after his 2010 and 2012 tours through the United States. Not many DJ’s come along that show such versatility in their work quite like Matt Effect. His work ranges over many different styled events, to not shy away in the background but yet to stand out as one of the big guns. Which has developed him a great reputation not only for his music, but his dedication towards all his work. Matt performs at some amazing parties and locations but he caters very well to all crowds, events, groups and age-brackets.
DJ Joshua D 2:15-4:00pm
Born and raised in Miami, Joshua D is quickly becoming known worldwide. He has traversed the globe time and time again, infecting club goers with the irresistible desire to dance. Those who have gotten to hear him live are frequently surprised at the maturity of his ability to weave together a seamless musical journey which is intense and full of energy.
Truly an emergent international DJ and producer with a fresh residency in Los Angeles, Joshua D has been booked for events in many global hot spots, including Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, London, Beijing, San Francisco, Dublin, Seoul, Atlanta, and Palm Springs. In the past year, he has quickly earned a residency at Los Angeles’ massive Momentum party at the legendary Circus Disco, arguably the largest monthly circuit event on the west coast.
He has had the pleasure to share the stage at world-class venues with some top DJs such as DJ PAULO, Tony Moran, DJ Escape, Ana Paula, Pagano, Isaac Escalante, Alexander, Joe Gauthreaux, Morabito, Manny Lehman, Alex Cohen and many others.
Recently, Joshua D has been producing original tracks, remixes, mashups and edits, and his work has been played in nightclubs in cities around the world, such as LA, NYC, San Francisco, Shanghai, Bangkok, Mexico City, London — just to name a few. His first original track, “CAN U WORK IT?” has been supported by some of the world’s biggest producers.
In 2014, he was named JustCircuit’s “best up-and-coming DJs” in their 9th Annual JustCircuit Awards. He played at the 25th anniversary of Jeffrey Sanker’s White Party in Palm Springs, one of the largest and well-known circuit weekends in the world. He also played at the inaugural 1LIFE Festival at the National Orange Show fairgrounds in San Bernardino, truly a pivotal point in his career.
