2012 Folsom Street Fair Conflict with Oracle Open World Forces Date Change Normally, the Folsom Street Fair is held on the last weekend in September. However, in 2012, that weekend is the same as Oracle Open World. We have received word from our partners in the hotel industry that many of the city's hotels are already completely sold out for that weekend.

We have now confirmed that in 2012 the Folsom Street Fair will take place on 9/23/12, so mark you calendars!

2012 Beneficiary Grant Applications Available Expanded program open to all bay area 501(c)(3) organizations Grant applications are now available via download to all bay area 501(c)(3) organizations for the 2012 Folsom Street Events fair season. Based on feedback we have expanded our grant program by creating three grant categories: Major Beneficiary, Supporting Beneficiary and National Community Grants. In addition, eligible non-profits may also now apply every year rather than every other year.

Folsom Street Events Donates Impressive Check to Local and National Charities With $330,745 Check, Agency Clears $4.6 Million Mark for its 28-Year Giving History The Board of Directors of Folsom Street Events announced charitable giving in the amount of today. Jacob Richards, Board President, says, "2011 was a solid year for Folsom Street Events and our charities. We are enormously grateful to our sponsors, beneficiaries, beverage partners, and the leather/fetish community for the ongoing support. This check represents an increase from our $326,161 in charitable giving for 2010. Particularly given the depressed economy, we feel that this check is a total success."
