Beneficiaries
Each year FSE returns all proceeds (including gate donations and beverage sales) from the Folsom Street Fair®, Up Your Alley Fair®, Bay of Pigstm and Magnitude® to qualified local charities. 2009 BeneficiariesThe board of directors of Folsom Street Events has selected the following roster of 501(c)(3) organizations below as our 2009 beneficiaries. This list represents organizations from both our "Major" and "Supporting" beneficiary categories. If your organization missed applying for a 2009 grant, there is still time to apply to be a "Beverage Partner" for the 2009 season.
Grant applications for the 2010 season will be available in December, 2009. Please check back then if your organization is interested in applying to be a grant recipient during the 2010 fair season. 2009 Beverage PartnersBecoming a "Beverage Partner" offers local San Francisco area 501(c)3 organizations another way to raise needed funds aside from our grant process. Our Beverage Partners operate one of the various beverage booths located throughout our fairs. In exchange for their hard work, the organization receives a portion of the net proceeds from the sales at their booth. Applications for 2009 Beverage Partners are being accepted now through June 1st, 2009 for the Up Your Alley Fair and July 31st, 2009 for the Folsom Street Fair. 2008 BeneficiariesIn 2008 Folsom Street Events returned over $339,725 to the beneficiaries below and other local nonprofits.
