San Francisco’s Sex Presleys are a madly successful attempt to capture the sound that would be created from generating a bastard demon child of a Las Vegas Elvis and a transgender Sex Pistols. The Sex Presleys harvested the demon seed from the chalk-encrusted bowels of the King of rock ’n' roll. The staggeringly powerful vocals of the cross-dressing Priscilla ripping through the freight-train rumble of the Sex Presley band made even the hardest of rockers shrink in fear and amazement. Their CD jumps out and rivals even the masterpiece that was "Never Mind the Bullocks." Songs such as "Teddy Bear" that is twisted into a sadomasochistic romp over "Anarchy in the UK" deliver the perversity that that the year of 1977 – the year Elvis died and the Sex Pistols were born – deserved.
With the release of their CD, GOD SAVE THE KING on the U.K.’s Raucous Records this year the Sex Presleys are quickly ramping up recognition and fear across the globe and quickly finding their way on to play lists from college radio to the most unusual international programming. Their myspace friend list gets bogged by friend request, they receive acclaim daily on their comment section and even Glenn Matlock of the Sex Pistols has weighed in with his approval.
The Sex Presleys are cross-dressing, leather, powerful, sexy, disturbing, iconoclastic, powerful, scary and fun.
The Sex Presleys are:
