| Synth-pop, electro indie rock band Shiny Toy Guns first surfaced on a 7" single on the Positivenergy Music label. Produced by synth and bass guitarist Jeremy Dawson, the group flourished in creating a full-length debut album. The group's finished product, We Are Pilots, surfaced in 2005 and was met with critical acclaim. The breakthrough album showcases a string of hook-filled songs, including “Le Disko,” “Rainy Monday,” “Chemistry of a Car Crash,” and “Don’t Cry Out.” Extensive touring and networking on various websites helped the band to develop a loyal fan base. Subsequently, the group signed a contract to Universal Records and then appeared performing "Nothing Compares 2 U" on Redline Records' 2006 Electro Goth Tribute to Prince.
The band is currently finishing up a second full-length release, slated to come out this coming fall/winter. Watch for new releases soon, and, for more information, check out shinytoyguns.com
